There is something about food that comforts us. Soul food, comfort food, what ever you call it has a lot to do with mental state you are in. I have always thought about what would be my comfort food. What would be the meal I would like before I die. Well the answer is definitely not simple. Neither is it permanent because I have not tasted all the world has to offer. There will definitely be Apple Pie, Caesar Salad with a generous helping of parmesan, maybe some Pork Vindaloo. The list is definitely long. And so I have decided to have a bucket list of things I am going to eat before I die. I would like your suggestions join the list

Salad at your Doorstep
As promised I did order salad from Green Tokri. Was very happy with the quantity and quality. The delivery guy was also very customer friendly. I ordered two dressing as well I must say I loved their Mustard dressing. Was very similar to the french dressing that I love, maybe the only difference was the setting. Spot on with the effort I say more power to green tokri.

Pune Farmer Market
Visiting the recently finished Farmers Market at Westin was more of a spur of the moment decision. I initially thought well it is in a 5 star it is going to be expensive and no idea what kind of farmers are going to come to such a Farmers Market. I have been to farmers markets in the UK and always enjoyed picking things up. Well off I went to Westin and was pleasantly surprised at the offering.
Let me start of with the vegetables. There were a few stalls that were selling veggies like lettuce, brocolli, celery, rocket and the other good stuff. Now generally I pick up some of this stuff from super markets but is usually expensive. Getting broccoli for 20 and a bag of mixed cut leaves for 60 was not something that I had imagined. I loved the way the people where friendly and were happy talking about their farm and the produce. I also liked the price and could not help buying quite a few things.
There were quite a few wine stalls. Unfortunately I did not visit them. I did visit the flower and plants stall and loved the things they had. I am very happy with the cactus I bought. Also it was not very expensive. You rarely get the plants at your local or nearby flower shop.
I did see "Pride of Cows" at one of the stalls and wanted to visit it but didn't get the time.
My take away to you is if you do see a farmer market taking place do visit it and be blown away. Only feedback I would have had was if they had some protein it would have been great. Oh one of the farmers does have home delivery I have registered for it now to see if it works and put it up.

Introduction
This is my new blog and all. I will be rambling about restos, pubs, events, in and around Pune to be more specific ones to which I go. Nothing else.
